Today Wahoo Fitness launched their new TICKR and TICKR X heart rate monitors. Wahoo’s class-leading heart rate monitors put big features into a slimmer body including being able to send enhanced run data to smartwatches and can simultaneously pair up to three Bluetooth devices, in addition to ANT+ connections.
Wahoo, the leader in connected fitness devices and indoor cycling ecosystems, is proud to announce key updates to the popular TICKR family of heart rate monitors. Both TICKR and TICKR X have been redesigned with a new look and updated firmware that enhance their connectivity, power, and comfort.
A new slimmer shape and integrated strap design make the latest TICKR and TICKR X their lightest heart rate monitors available at only 48g/1.7oz (pod and strap together). Both TICKR and TICKR X can now simultaneously pair up to three Bluetooth devices, in addition to ANT+ connections. With an eye toward making TICKR easier to use, the LEDs are now at the top of the pod body, so users can easily check to make sure their devices are connected and recording data. By increasing the battery life by nearly 50%, both the TICKR and TICKR X now allow up to 500 hours of use on a single battery.

Easy to see top-mounted LED indicators verify that the TICKR X is connected to a device and reading your heart rate. Equipped with Bluetooth & ANT+ technology, TICKR X pairs to smartphones, GPS watches and bike computers at the same time or separately.
MOTION ANALYTICS
ANT+ Running Dynamics allow you to see vertical oscillation, ground contact time & cadence in real time on your compatible multisport/running watch. With the Wahoo Fitness App, TICKR X can track speed & distance when running indoors in treadmill mode and cadence on a stationary bike in indoor cycling mode.
Long embraced by cyclists, runners, and fitness enthusiasts of all kinds, the updated TICKR X offers the ability to transmit indoor cycling cadence to the Wahoo Fitness app. The TICKR X can now also transmit enhanced running dynamics to compatible smartwatches via ANT+, giving runners real-time access to their cadence, vertical oscillation, and ground contact time. Also offered to runners is a proprietary Running Smoothness ® score through the Wahoo Fitness app, helping to improve their efficiency and form. TICKR X can also store up to 50 hours of workout data, which will sync to your smartphone via the Wahoo Fitness app.
