Rapha Festive 500 Returns! Are you up to it?

The Rapha Festive 500 runs from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve. Eight days. 500 km. Are you up to it? During the Christmas holidays, most cyclists put aside their training and diet to indulge in a few treats, however, this will be the twelfth year that some cyclists take advantage of these days to try to achieve a challenge to end the year on a high note. Are you capable of doing 500 km in 8 days? Registration is free and anyone can try.

Registration for the Rapha Festive 500 2022, Are You Up For It

Simply register for your Strava event and start clocking up the kilometers. All finishers will receive a digital badge and can even order a commemorative patch from Rapha to sew onto their jersey.

The goal, which can be followed through the hashtag #Festive500 on social media and Strava, is designed to be covered in a total of 8 days, enough time for someone with the right training to cover the 500 kilometers that make up the Rapha Festive 500 2022. That would be 62.5 kilometers/day if you spread it over all the days, and 125k per day if you decide to spread it over 4 rides.

The Swag for 2022

The Rapha Festive 500 will once again feature prizes for participants, especially for the brightest. All of them, just by deciding to take part, can get a commemorative woven patch, while those who make it through will also get a plaque commemorating the event.

Finally, Rapha encourages participants to document their adventure graphically, and in writing. Then you can send the results of your artistic endeavors to the company. The best and most original stories are entered into a prize drawing for great prizes such as a Whoop activity wristband with a 12-month subscription, a Wahoo trainer, a POC helmet, and more.

The Rapha Festive 500 2022 is, in short, a new opportunity to place hurdles in our way and overcome them, while doing so within our abilities. Any time is the ideal time to explore self-improvement and all the values of sport, those that abound in the solitary cyclist who pedals for love and pleasure, without receiving anything in return other than the personal experience.
