SCOTT Sports has been teasing a new 2022 SCOTT Spark and now it is here. And man is it sexy but your wallet is going to be a tad lighter! Olympic years often mean new XC bikes as brands pull out all the stops to give their racers the most advanced tool for arguably the biggest prize in cross-country racing. Well this year is no exception and SCOTT knocked it out of the park!

Key features for the 2022 SCOTT Spark and Spark RC include hidden rear shock, better shock performance, new frame design, integrated cable routing, Twic-Loc that controls the dropper and more. It is a far cry from the SCOTT Spark of 2021 that Nino Schurter was racing. One thing that has not changed is the SCOTT still uses the Twin-Loc design.
We wanted to make the fastest XC Bike even faster – both up and down the hill. Increasing travel, perfecting geometry, and applying input from the world’s best athletes, we’ve created the cross country race bike of all cross country race bikes. If you think fast is fun, then you’re going to love this ride.

Inside the 2022 SCOTT Spark RC
This is a must watch video that shows all the details, tech behind the bike and more. It is not a sales pitch, but a very detailed video.
With that in mind, Scott introduces the all-new, completely redesigned Spark product range. The range includes the RC race bike, the 900 trail bike, and the Contessa, as ridden by Kate Courtney This bike looks very different from previous years, kind of e-bike mixed with a little bit futuristic. While this may well share some of the same design cues as the Bold Cycles (SCOTT bought them in 2019), it’s an all-new bike.
