The XCO 2021 World Cup MTB calendar was announced with just 6 races and no Mont-Sainte-Anne or Vallnord, but it does make a North America stop at Snowshoe in West Virginia! Once again Snowshoe will be the last stop of the World Cup circuit.
The UCI recently released the 2021 World Cup calendar and the season will be even shorter than usual. There are no new events on the calendar and two venues that were already emblematic on the World Cup calendar are lost. Especially in the case of Mont-Sainte-Anne, which, for the first time since the World Cup, will not be part of its program.

It seems that the COVID crisis has altered the trend followed by the World Cup, which even seemed to open the possibility to expand the number of races and even host new venues. The Olympics in 2021 could also be another reason for the shortened season. Other sources have cited, that there has even been the possibility that the XCO World Cup would restart in South Africa or the options presented in places like La Thuile.
